WMUR: Several 2006 Carol Shea-Porter Volunteers back Carleigh Beriont

As a historian, I am keenly aware that I am walking in the footsteps of the many organizers, activists, and community leaders who came before me. One of the joys and honors of our campaign is to be able to take those steps with volunteers who walked the grassroots path with Representative Carol Shea-Porter in 2006.

Her grassroots campaign shocked New Hampshire and the nation in 2006, so I was honored when Adam Sexton and the WMUR political team recognized the core volunteer leaders from that campaign who have assembled to help me organize a volunteer network to win this campaign in 2026!

As I said in the interview, it is unfortunate that so many of the issues that animated the campaign in 2006 are the same ones we’re facing in this election cycle, but with this incredible grassroots team behind me, I am confident we can prevail.
