Interview: NH Has Issues
In a political world that seems more polarized than ever, the everyday issues we face unite us.
After visiting every town in CD-01 and talking to voters all over the state, I’ve seen how our affordability crisis pushes families into poverty and puts pressure on Granite Staters. Working for years in local government here in Hampton has given me the skills to create real solutions to these problems in a purple community. I’ve spent years reaching across the aisle to create common-sense solutions.
Last week, I sat down with Liz Canada from the New Hampshire Has Issues podcast to discuss my plans to make life affordable for our friends and neighbors. The impacts of inaction in Washington can be seen throughout our communities. From underfunded schools to rising healthcare costs, people around our district are being left behind. It’s time to change that.
In the episode, I discussed my plans to hold the federal government accountable for funding our schools. It’s time that we fully find IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) and cap childcare costs to reduce pressure on America’s families. Thank you Liz for having me!
