Carleigh’s Statement on Political Violence at Utah Valley University

My thoughts are with the family of Charlie Kirk and all those who witnessed the horrific attack this afternoon in Utah. In a democracy, disagreements must be resolved through debate, dialogue, peaceful action, and never intimidation or attacks. Violence aimed at our political process damages the very foundations of our democracy, and erodes trust. I fervently condemn all political violence, and remain committed to solutions that strengthen our communities and uphold our institutions.
