Politics & Peaches with the New Durham Dems

Politics & Peaches was a reminder of what democracy should look like: people coming together and sitting down to discuss what is going on in their lives and how we can work together to make life better. I was honored to join some of the other candidates running for Congress to share our stories and strategies for tackling the different issues facing New Hampshire and the country including immigration, public education, and the high cost of housing and groceries and to hear from the people present about what they find most challenging and exciting about our current political moment.

I am grateful to the New Durham Dems for creating such a beautiful event and inviting us to learn from former State Senator Jeanne Dietsch about the growing influence of the Free State movement in New Hampshire. I look forward to continuing to meet voters across the district and engaging in conversations about what matters most (especially if we can do it over a meal of delicious fresh peach-themed dishes)!
