New Endorsements Rolling In!

In the hours after the CD1 Primary Debate, endorsement for our campaign have been rolling in. Dennis J. Kucinich, the former Democratic Candidate for President in 2004 and 2008, endorsed me today. Former Representative Kucinich wrote,

“As a former Chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, with sixteen years in Congress striving for peace, workersʼ rights and health care for all, I am proud to voice my support of Carleigh Beriont in New Hampshireʼs 1st District, in the Democratic Primary, on Sept. 8th.

“Carleigh Beriont will make an outstanding member of Congress. As a Mom, she understands the urgent economic issues which confront families. Her experience as a union organizer equips her to fight for decent wages and benefits for working people,”

“Her experience as a teacher informs her respect for the importance of education in the lives of our children and for the future of our nation. Carleigh, with her deep training in ethics and religion will bring to Congress great insight on how we can address the serious corruption which threatens to destroy America, unless people of good will, strength and courage stand up for the Constitution and the spiritual principles which inform our freedom.”

“Her service on the Budget Committee of the Hampton Select Board is noteworthy at a time when budget issues need to be taken seriously in Congress. There are a number of good candidates running for Congress in New Hampshire but there is no one more prepared than Carleigh Beriont. A Mom, a teacher, a defender of workersʼ rights, a public official with budget experience, and a principled woman who will bring high standards to the highest Hill in the land, thatʼs Carleigh.”
