All likely Democratic primary voters in NH-01 need to see from 8/8-9/8 that:

As a union organizer, teacher, and local elected official, Carleigh spends her time listening to and helping the people in our communities who are hanging on by their fingernails. She knows status quo politicians won’t work for us. Together, we need to decide who we want to represent us in Washington.

In order of importance, voters need to see this information on YouTube, connected TV, and, cost depending, linear TV.

First, voters need to learn about Carleigh’s background and accomplishments, in this order of importance: 

1. She knows people are feeling frustrated, exhausted, worried and cynical by the constant torrent of bad news from Washington and around the world and by how many politicians seem to help themselves and no one else year after year while the rest of us work multiple jobs and try to be good and kind and can still barely make ends meet.

2. Carleigh helped organize a union that won better pay and benefits. Unlike most candidates for Congress, she can bring people together to make actual improvements to people’s lives in areas like affordable healthcare and childcare. 

3. After more than a year talking to people in the district and fighting for public education and safety from ICE in local government here in NH, she knows that the biggest divide in this country right now is the one between regular people and a political system that treats us like we don’t matter.  

4. She’s fighting for working people because she is one. She knows how much gas costs, how much the chicken prices have gone up at Walmart, how much it costs to do a load of laundry in the big machine on Route 1, how little so many of our neighbors are making, how many people in their 80s have had to go back to work to pay their taxes that only ever seem to go up, how many grandparents are watching their kids’ kids or parents have their adult children living with them facing odds that they never dreamed of when they were younger. 

Should more communication occur, voters might be interested to learn that Carleigh has led in stopping ICE’s abuses of power in New Hampshire.

• On the Select Board in a purple town she led efforts to oppose collaboration with ICE, a measure that then passed in a town-wide vote, with support from Democrats and Republicans.

• She also advocated successfully for similar measures with officials across the state including at the Rockingham County Jail.  

• In Congress, she will seek to stop Trump’s corruption and abuses of power and protect our families.
