Carleigh at Manchester Pride!
Over the weekend I joined the Manchester Pride parade and festival with my younger sister, Paige. It was amazing to see so many Granite Staters gather to celebrate love and the power of community.
Walking through the park, talking with community organizers, listening to fantastic musicians, and checking out the creations of local authors and artists was a beautiful reminder of why I’m running for Congress. I’m running because everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, safe, and celebrated no matter who they are, where they live, or who they love.
As a mom, a teacher, and a local elected official, I know that representation matters. I also know that the rights we’ve fought for are still being debated and in some cases under attack. That’s why I’m committed to being a loud, proud, unwavering advocate for the LGBTQ+ community in Congress. Not just during Pride month, but every single day.
