November IRL Recap
On the campaign trail in November, Carleigh kept showing up across the district—listening to Granite Staters, learning from local leaders, and hearing directly about the pressures families are facing. Despite the challenges created by the government shutdown and growing anxiety around the future of healthcare, she found hope in community: in conversations over coffee, in rooms full of organizers and advocates, and in volunteers stepping up to build something better together.
In November, Carleigh and her team:
☕ Started the month strong with coffee in Candia, learning what inspired residents to get engaged in Democratic politics
🧠 Learned about how cities and towns are addressing homelessness at the Nashua Continuum of Care Retreat and about the hard conversations families, workers, and policymakers need to have about caring for our elderly parents and grandparents at the NHTP’s Elephant-in-the-Room program on navigating elder care
🗣️ Joined listening sessions and forums across the state, including the Hampton Coastal Resilience Forum, UNH Listening Session, NH Outright listening session, and 603 Forward’s Real Talk: Our Voices in Office
🕯️ Attended the NHDP Roosevelt Dinner to hear from Senator Cory Booker
📋 Volunteered in Lee for conversational canvassing— talking to Independent voters
🤝 Gathered with Team Carleigh volunteers to discuss how we’ll support each other on the path to victory over the next year
❤️ Met with community leaders who are doing important work across the state, including at the NH Harm Reduction Coalition, to learn about their ongoing advocacy and education efforts
🏳️⚧️ Memorialized the trans lives lost to violence this year at the Transgender Day of Remembrance
🚗 Continued touring the district with stops in Madbury, Wolfeboro, Portsmouth, and more!
