Video: Youʼre the Greatest Parents in the World

Last week Carleigh attended Oktoberfest with Atkinson and Plaistow Democratic Town Committees and spoke about the things that define the Democratic Party, solutions to the problems we are facing, and how we can move forward together. But first, she had an important message for the kids and parents who came out for the event:

Youʼre the greatest parents in the world.

“I also want to acknowledge all the kids in the room—hi, kids!—youʼre here because you have amazing parents who care so much about you, and when youʼre older, youʼre going to remember meetings like this and say ʼwhen I was little I used to go to picnics and they had amazing food, and a lot of people talking about all the things they love and want to make better for us.ʼ Iʼm glad youʼre here today, and to whoeverʼs children they are: Thank you. Youʼre the greatest parents in the world.”
