What are we doing?

This morning, kids who went to school will not be coming home.

We can't keep letting this happen.

It does not have to be this way.

We must make it stop. Now.

My kids started school yesterday, and my husband starts next week. Every morning, I hug them knowing that what has happened to other families and happened in Minnesota today could happen to us too.

This is not the world I want to live in.

Our kids deserve better. We all deserve better.

And any politician who continues to enable this should be voted out of office.
