Op-Ed: New Hampshire Continues to Fail Children
This week, lawyers for nearly 2,000 survivors of abuse at the Sununu Youth Services Center — the place most Granite Staters still know as the Youth Development Center — asked the New Hampshire Supreme Court to hold the state to a deal it already broke.
It is time for federal action at the YDC
I am deeply disturbed by the reports I am reading from the Sununu Youth Detention Center in Manchester, and it is long past time for federal authorities to step in and address the appalling lack of oversight and accountability by the relevant state agencies overseeing the facility and its staff.

Portsmouth Good Trouble Rally
Carleigh attends the "Good Trouble Rally" in Portsmouth where she met with local activists, listened to some great protest music, and reconnected with some of her day-one supporters. Protests and rallies like these have really taken off since Trump took office in January, and the momentum is growing for a people-powered democracy that respects human rights and the dignity of all people.
Hampton Dedicates First Black Heritage Trail Marker
On Saturday, Carleigh joined the unveiling of the Black Heritage Trail marker at the Hampton Town Library, honoring the life of Dinah Small Burdoo - the last formerly enslaved person to live in Hampton. Read more on the Seacoast online.

Manchester Pride was alive with a unique and vibrant spirit. Carleigh took in the festivities with her sister, Paige. It was an unforgettable event! Meanwhile, Eric headed up north with the kids to visit White Mountain Pride in North Conway. What a great weekend!
